Fait en 2015 dans le cadre du cours Visual Communication in Context enseigné par Tamzyn Berman à l'Université Concordia de Montréal.

Le choix de couleur est en référence au titre. L'image se voulait une façon de représenter la contraignance et un sentiment d'inconfort chez l'individu l'observant. Bien que non-confirmé par les auteurs, la rumeur veut que Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots soit un album concept racontant l'histoire de la dite Yoshimi.

The colours are a reference to the title of the album. The image is a powerful representation of the restraining and uncomfortable feelings associated with the war the character is fighting against an invasive colony of robots. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is rumoured to be a concept album telling the story of Yoshimi, a young female Japanese fighter.
